I think being a reader is important for obvious reasons. Being able to hold a conversation which is outside sport and current affairs, although I'm more than happy to wax lyrical about my football team for about a minute. Don't mind going to watch them play either......... Politics, well I try not to be too opinionated these days, just stick with the facts and precedents. Shame the pollies don't! I would love to meet someone who doesn't instantly categorise me purely because of some of my interests, I give myself credit for being a far more rounded person and am comfortable in my own skin. I'm sure the person I find or who finds me will also see that and have those same qualities. :) |
